Imagine uprooting your entire life to take a chance on yourself? That’s exactly what Joey Hernandez our new Account Executive has done. “I packed up and moved out to California with no job lined up and told myself I would just figure it out when I got there.” Originally from Phoenix, Arizona Joey spent his formative years working in his family’s janitorial company. From an early age, the backbreaking labor made him was aware that people live in different circumstances.
“All my friends at school had everything handed to them on silver platters, but if I wanted something, I had to work for it. I hated it as I was growing up, but as I got older, I realized that value of hard work and that if I want something, I have to work to get it.”
Upon arriving in California, Joey spent some time exploring what he wanted to do. After a brief stint working in a restaurant, he decided to get his resumes out to companies in other industries and it just so happens Antis Roofing & Waterproofing was one of those companies!
“I was interviewing with several companies and Antis stood out as soon as I walked in the office. It was vibrant, and seemed like people genuinely enjoyed being here.”
Joey found the interview process comfortable from the get-go. He felt an instant connection with our purpose and our professional and fun-loving team. To Joey, Antis stood out with its positive air of camaraderie. Not to mention his love of our sweet wrapped trucks!
Joey aims to bring excellent relationship building skills to his sales role. He knows that people prefer to do business with people they trust and enjoy being with, and Antis fits that mold. The hard work, dedication and joyful demeanor Joey radiates is not lost on us here at Antis Roofing & Waterproofing.
“At Antis, we’re all about relationships and doing the right thing. It was apparent that Joey values the same approach. In the short time he’s been here, Joey has impressed clients with his ability to focus on relationships and being a great partner. We’re proud to have him on our team!” – Karen Inman, President & COO
