Charles had a brainstorm during a board of directors meeting for the CSUF Center for Leadership. Board members and business owners were solicited to bring CSUF MBA Students into their company to complete a project for the business – either a problem to solve or an opportunity to explore. Charles turned to Jay Scott, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Anaheim Ducks and suggested that they partner together and explore the economic and environmental impact of repairing and maintaining the 25-year-old roof at the Honda Center versus a full roof replacement. Antis engaged a consultant from the roofing industry, former NRCA CEO Bill Good, to support the students in their research. The outcome was a group of six MBA students from CSUF applying their respective business expertise to the project this past Spring semester. They concluded with their presentation to Antis & the Honda Center on May 8th.
