Antis Inspired to Give Back by Donating Roofing Maintenance
IRVINE, CALIF. (April 17, 2017) – Charles Antis, founder and CEO of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, has been appointed to serve on the board of the Orange County Ronald McDonald House (OCRMH). As a respected business owner, Antis is also a celebrated local philanthropist. He began his full term in March and will continue to partner his company with the organization as needed.

Antis’ own personal journey inspired him to pay it forward to the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. When his twins were born six weeks premature, the House provided a place of comfort during a stressful and frightening time.
“The Ronald McDonald House helped us through a challenging time in my family’s life, providing care when it was most needed,” Antis said. “I’m fortunate to serve as a board member and contribute to the House’s mission to provide a safe haven for families of critically ill children.”
Antis visited the Orange County Ronald McDonald House for the first time in July 2016 after learning that there had been no roof maintenance in seven years. He immediately offered to donate support and seal potential leak areas. Since then, Antis Roofing has participated in numerous OCRMH events such as the Walk for Kids and Annual High Tea Fashion Show.
“The Board was impressed by Charles’ commitment to the Orange County community, and his desire to support all Ronald McDonald Houses across the country,” said Noel Burcelis, executive director at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. “Charles was unanimously approved by our Board of Trustees to become our newest member in January. We consider Charles and his team to be true ambassadors.”
Antis Roofing highlighted the OCRMH in their Philanthropy Suite at the Honda Center last December, allowing the organization to strengthen relationships with staff, board members and potential donors.
Founded in 1989, the Orange County Ronald McDonald House provides comfort, care and support to the families of seriously ill and injured children receiving treatment in Southern California.
