Arrived in Hanoi!
When I arrived at the hotel there was an amazing celebration happening at the middle school outside my hotel window…it couldn’t have been a better welcome to Hanoi!
The team leader’s daughter, Angela, found this restaurant, the morning of our arrival. The restaurant and chef was so willingto go out of their way to assist and devise a wonderful menu for the Habitat for Humanity of Orange County CA to celebrate the beginning of this incredible journey. The young girl who spoke and welcomed us to the restaurant is from Phu Tho, which is the city we will be building the homes in. Bring on the waterworks 🙂
As we were leaving the restaurant, I spotted my first teeny tiny kitty
